GENERAL INFORMATION
The airport of Lisbon is located in the northern part of the city of Lisbon, at a distance to the centre of about 10-15 minutes by taxi or bus, depending on the traffic hours. Buses no. 45 and 83 connect the airport to the place of the Congress.
The transport and accommodation will be the responsibility of the official travel agency of the congress - AGÊNCIA ABREU (http://congressos.abreu.pt/iah2007/default.asp). There will be an agency spot in the airport and the agency will also have a spot in the Congress place, to help the participants dealing with any change of travel plans, accommodation, request any special trip, etc. This agency will also be responsible for proposing some travel trips for accompanying persons, which will be announced in the third announcement, and will be also available during the Congress venue.
The pre-selected hotels are located either near the place of the Congress or near Metro stations, thus allowing rapid displacements from the hotel to the place of the Congress.
