CONTENTS
FEFLOW is a software package for modelling fluid flow and transport of dissolved constituents and/or heat transport processes in the subsurface. It contains pre and post processing functionality and an efficient simulation engine. A user-friendly graphical interface provides easy access to the extensive modelling options.
The training course gives an introduction to groundwater modelling using the simulation system FEFLOW. First, the basic handling of the software for flow and mass transport simulation is taught, including data import from ASCII, GIS and CAD files, mesh generation, parameterization, simulation and post-processing. The last day is used to present saltwater intrusion modelling in both 2D and 3D. Hands-on exercises during the entire course help to steepen the learning curve. |
