CONTENTS
The course presents standards methods, and guides for planning and undertaking hydrogeologic field investigations. The course emphasizes conceptual models, water level measurements, well inventory, well drilling, aquifer tests, sample collection, project planning, and report preparation. Major source references for this course are U.S. Geological Survey Techniques for Water-Resources Investigations and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards guides for soil, rock, and groundwater.
The course is to be attended by geoscientists, engineers, hydrogeologists, environmental professionals, geochemists and water well drillers.
