We are deeply honoured to invite you to participate in the XXXV IAH Congress, which will be held from 17 to 21 September 2007 in the city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal.
It will be an excellent opportunity for professionals from all over the world to exchange experiences and methods, to discuss problems and their solution, and to meet scientists from other sensibilities that can present their work concerning the relations between the groundwater and the dependent ecosystems, the economic aspects of this relations, etc.
This will be surely an opportunity to increase the knowledge with the results presented by the participants and also an opportunity to present your work and communicate with the users and administrators of groundwater and the environment.
Lisbon is an ancient and, at the same time, modern city, which offers you all the comfort and the sense of history that will make your visit unforgettable.
The post-Congress excursions will offer you the opportunity to visit places of singular hydrogeological interest and outstanding beauty.
Together with the Congress, three special events will also occur: a Meeting on the History of Hydrogeology and a Symposium on Thermal and Mineral Waters in Hard Rock Terrains , and the meeting of the Working Group on Groundwater (WGC) under the Common Implementation Strategy of the Water Framework Directive.
