ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS
Some specific round table discussions or special sessions are being planned during the Congress.
A special session organized in collaboration with UNESCO-IHP is being prepared and related to the different UNESCO groundwater funded projects and to the importance of groundwater for sustainable development.
A special session involving the presentation of UNEP groundwater related projects is also being discussed. And, there is also the possibility of a special session for the presentation of RAMSAR Convention/MedWet expert works.
A special session on groundwater policy is being prepared in collaboration with DG ENV, and will include the participation of the members of the Working Group on Groundwater under the Common Implementation Strategy of the Water Framework Directive.
